    • Eastnova tack cloths are made from surgical-grade bleached gauze and manufactured with proprietary formulations of the finest heat-set resins to assure complete removal of particulates without leaving harmful residue. Extra pick-up and holding power assures a blemish-free, mirror smooth finish. The carrier material of high standard, loose gauze tissue lets the dust enter to the inner layers and provides additional security and the highest possible dust absorption capacity.
    • Eastnova tack cloth are totally wax/lead/silicone free and always soft and tacky. Non-toxic, works on all metal, wood, plastic and fiber-glass surface.
    • The tack cloth's application is to act as a pre-paint wiping cloth for the removal of unwanted specks of dust or dirt from the surface of the component being treated.
  • Method of use:
    • After general cleaning or washing of the work area and surface, immediately before coating application unwrap cloth and unfold to fit hand.
    • Using only sufficient pressure to keep cloth on surface, wipe gently and thoroughly. Do not push or rub hard! Doing so will transfer "tackifier" to surface and may ruin your paintwork.
    • Do not wipe into corners where snagging may occur as this may result in the tack cloth fraying, and it may leave linters.
    • As cloth becomes solid, refold to expose fresh wiping surface.
    • We recommend you "tack" the surface twice before painting, to ensure cleanliness.
    • Heat increases stickiness and risk of tackifier transfer.
    • Wearing a lint-free clove whilst "tacking" will prevent skin-oil contamination of the surface and reduce heating of cloth by bodily warmth.
